Mubarak Ali Residence at Spurtank Road, Chennai- revisited photos

The design was aimed at giving a contemporary grammar to the house creating a sculptured mass by retaining the existing trees.

A visual drama is created by means of natural lighting from the open courts reflecting the outdoor quality. The large windows in every room floods the space with natural light and provide views of the outdoor green breathing pockets making the house lovely and cheerful.

The existing trees on the site were included in the design and the building wraps around it giving the house the unique geometry.
