JANANI RESIDENCE AT KOTTIVAKKAM 

Dance studio and a home in 2400 sqft land

 

Mr. Saravanan and Mrs. Janani came with an idea to design an exquisite home for their family of two daughters and an elderly parent in the City of South Chennai, Kottivakkam. Their main ideology was to have a beautiful connected house for their kids to interact with their parents. Mr. Saravanan and MrsJanani and It professionals concerned that their busy work schedule shouldn't affect their daily life schedule.

 

Mrs. Janani a passionate Bharatanatyam Dancer wanted to have a beautiful dance studio with a blend of traditional and Contemporary togetherness withlandscape elements as a highlighting factor.

 

The Ground floor act as a social interactive space with parking and a Swimming pool. The front part as a Parking with Landscape which also could act as kids play area, a walkable space for parents, and also as a Dance practicing area. The office space in the front viewing the landscape area and visually  connected to the parking area

The Green welcoming space on the rear side of the house connecting to the Dance Studio with a double height ceiling and landscape features on the sides of the studio act as a visual treat and relaxing features.

 

The swimming pool with raised feature wall which cuts the visual disturbance from the neighborhood building, which retains privacy for the Kids. The glass deck flooring on the mezzanine floor floating over the swimming pool acts as a Kid's play area and study space visually connected from the dance studio, Which also easily connected from the parent's bedroom. The parent's bedroom and Kid's bedroom connected by a common passage. The courtyard space with green in the first floor connecting the family living and puja acts as a refreshing zone for family, evening sit-outs for parents and play area for kids. Ultimately the family living with Double height connecting the dining and kitchen area.

Master bedroom and a kid's bedroom on the second with private Balcony connected by a common lounge in the middle.

The challenge was in accomplishing all the requirements in 2400 sqft site. excellent clients. very supportive …. and understanding

 

 

ஜனனி இல்லம்

 

தெற்கு சென்னையின் நகரமான கொட்டிவாக்கத்தில் திரு. சரவணன், திருமதி. ஜனனி, இரண்டு மகள்கள் மற்றும் அவர்களின் பெற்றோர் களுக்காக இந்நேர்த்தியான இல்லம் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. பெற்றோர்களுடன் குழந்தைகளை இணைக்கும் ஓர் அழகான இணைக்கப்பட்ட வசிப்பிடமாய் உருவாக்கப்பட உள்ளது. தொழில்துறை நிபுணரான திரு. சரவணன் மற்றும் நடன ஆசிரியரான திருமதி. ஜனனி அவர்களின் பரபரப்பான அலுவலக வேலை, அழகான தினசரி வாழ்க்கையை பாதிக்காத வண்ணம் இவ்வில்லம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

 

பரதநாட்டிய நடனக் கலைஞரான திருமதி. ஜனனி அவர்கள் பாரம்பரிய மற்றும் சமகால ஒற்றுமையுடன் ஒர் அழகிய நடனாலயத்தை இயற்கை அம்சங்களுடன் உருவாக்க விரும்பினார். 

 

தரை தளம் வாகனங்கள் நிறுத்துமிடமாகவும் நீச்சல் குளத்துடன் சமூக உரையாடும் இடமாகவும் செயல்படுகிறது. வீட்டின் முன் பகுதியில் உள்ள இயற்கை சுழலுடன் அமைக்கப்படவிருக்கும் வாகன நிறுத்துமிடம் குழந்தைகள் விளையாடவும், பெற்றோர்கள் நடந்து செல்லவும் வெளிப்புற நடன பயிற்சி செய்யும் வகையிலும் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

வீட்டின் பின்புறமுள்ள இயற்கை சுழலுடன் அமைக்கப்படவிருக்கும் பசுமை வரவேற்பிடம் இரட்டை உயர நடனாலயத்துடன் இணைக்கிறது. இவ்விடத்தைப் பயண்படுத்துபவர்களுக்கு காட்சி விருந்தாகவும் மன அமைதி கொடுக்கும் வகையிலும் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவ்வில்லத்தின் நீச்சல் குளத்திற்கு அண்மையில் அமைக்கப்படவிருக்கும் சிறப்புத் தடுப்பு சுவர், குழந்தைகளின் தனிமையையும் பாதுகாப்பையும் கருத்தில் கொண்டு உருவாக்கப்படவுள்ளது. 

 

இடைத்தளத்தில் மிதக்கும் கண்ணாடித் தரை நீச்சல் குளத்திற்கு மேல் அமைக்கப்பட உள்ளது. இவ்விடம் குழந்தைகள் விளையாடுவதற்காக அமைக்கப்படவுள்ளது. மேலும் நடனாலயத்தைப் பார்வையுடன் இணைக்கிறது. பெற்றோர்கள் படுக்கை அறையையும் குழந்தைகள் அறையையும் இணைக்கும் பொது வழியாக உள்ளது. 

 

முதல் தளத்தில் அமைக்கப்படவிருக்கும் பசுமை நிறைந்த முற்றம் குடும்ப அறை, பூஜை அறை, சமயலறை மற்றும் உணவறையை இணைக்கிறது. மேலும் குடும்பத்தார்க்கு புத்துணர்ச்சி அளிக்கும் இடமாகவும், மாலையில் பெற்றோர்கள் உட்கார்ந்து உரையாடவும், குழந்தைகள் விளையாடும் இடமாகவும் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

இரண்டாம் தளத்தில் இல்லத்தாரின் படுக்கை அறையையும் குழந்தைகள் படுக்கை அறையையும் இணைக்கும் வகையில் பொழுதுபோக்கறை அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும் இவ்விரு படுக்கையறையிலும் பசுமைத் தோட்டத்தால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

மொத்தத்தில் இவ்வில்லம், இடைவெளிகளுக்கிடையில் ஏராளமான தொடர்புகளுடன் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. உடல் ரீதியாகவும் பார்வை ரீதியாகவும் ஒர் ஒற்றுமையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.
