Dr.Arumugham's residence at Anna Nagar,Chennai, Tamil nadu

Located at the core of Anna Nagar, Chennai this house is a fine example of contemporary flavor in architecture.

The use of green courtyards, skylights and louvers gives a feeling of enclosed openness within the house. The multilevel spaces with courtyards at each level, corridors and lounges brings visual connectivity between the spaces.
The stone cladding on the wall call attention to its grandness. The filtered light through the louvers makes the interiors vibrant and beautiful. The green courtyards that acts as a transitional space between inside and outside is an illustration of green architecture.

The facade of the residence itself plays with planes, projections and voids which is followed throughout the structure. Also the combination of pure white color and wooden louvers adds to its contemporary elegance.
